Dr. Brandt Gilbert
A third-generation dentist, Dr. Gilbert pursued a career in dentistry after watching his grandfather and dad develop special bonds with their patients in Greenville and the surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. It is these authentic relationships with patients that Dr. Gilbert believes are so important to providing excellent care.
His passion for dentistry began when he required jaw surgery in his twenties. Seeing the partnership between his dentist (his dad!) and specialists to take care of his needs exposed him to a potential career in dental. His passion now is educating patients and making them feel at ease coming to the dentist.

Dr. Paul Gilbert
Dr. Gilbert has spent thousands of hours continuing to learn new ways to improve both clinical results and patient comfort for the people of Greenville. His thirst to never stop learning has set a standard of excellence and is contagious to the entire team at Gilbert Dental Group. Dr. Gilbert desires to provide you with highly skilled care in a compassionate manner.

Dr. Megan Nugent
Dr. Nugent’s passion for dentistry ignited in her youth as she observed the boost in patients’ confidence post dental work. She values the patient-dentist relationship and aims to foster it with her new patients. With a history of community involvement and volunteering in underserved areas during dental school, she specializes in alleviating dental anxiety. A graduate of West Virginia University, she enjoys college football games and outdoor activities with her golden retrievers. New to the area, she welcomes recommendations for dining, breweries, and hiking spots in Greenville.

Gilbert Dental Group has been providing excellent dental care in the Greenville community since 1945 and honors the values of trust and respect with every existing and new patient. These values have provided us with the privilege of caring for generations of local families.

Our Modern Approach

Our dentists have received their education and dental training from the Medical University of South Carolina, The Dawson Academy in St. Peterburg, Florida, and Clemson University. They remain committed to ongoing education with Spear Education and CDOCs, where they receive cutting-edge training on digital dentistry.
